JaPres records is the hidden gem of the music world. This small record label located
in Candler, North Carolina (just outside Asheville) has released recordings from
a collection of highly talented musicians.
Named for producer and label owner Dave Smith's grandchildren, JaPres offers a variety
of different musical styles from country to R&B, soul and even beach music.
While JaPres is a "traditional" style label - staying small and focusing on creating
the best music possible - don't be fooled by its small-time status. Some of the best
musicians in Nashville are featured on their albums. Production values are also top-notch,
and after just one listen to any of JaPres's albums you are sure to agree.
JaPres is dedicated to promoting little-known rising stars and seasoned veterans, keeping
